Playing music in the church and streaming it on Twitch is a lot of fun. The stage is unique, but after a few years of being set up in one location, it was time for a change.

I’ve experimented with setting up a second studio area, but on Independence Day 2024, I gave the Flub Club an unexpected surprise experiment stream live from Studio B.

The performance itself was flubtastic. And the scene is very much a work in progress.

I’m going to add a flub counter to BettieBot, to help us keep track of things, but I definitely enjoyed using the chalkboard for our ‘analog events list.’ First flub of the night was misspelling Detherth’s name for resubscribing for fifty months!

We also had fifty month resub from our geologist friend and streamer GeoJim2006 and a raid and resub from ChrisLCox, an awesome 3D modeling artist!

This 1963 Farfisa Compact Combo organ belongs to The Fantastic Plastics. Some of the keys do not work on the 16′ tones and the reverb does not work.

With the top removed, you can see the real beauty of this vintage masterpiece of hand-wired electronics.

The control panel on the back of the unit is slightly different from the manual that I have. Most notably, the fuse replacement housing is missing.

The bottom panel of the case folds up and becomes the cross-brace for the legs.

The rear of the keys have separate contacts for the 4′, 8′, and 16′ tones.

From below – 16-pin bass pedal connector on the left, reverb tank in the center, and knee-lever on the right.
